These are our award-winning limited edition season-ales which are only available at certain times of the year.
Flor-ale – 3.8%
“Champion Beer of Western Sussex CAMRA” 2011
Light blonde with delicate floral hop notes using only Maris Otter low colour malt. Pleasant sweet finish. Perfect springtime refreshment.
Available from 10th March to the Summer Solstice.
Festiv-ale – 3.9%
Award winning blonde ale (Chichester Real Ale and Jazz Festival 2009) with a blend of English and American hops giving a slightly spicy floral blend with a hint of grapefruit. Well bittered with a clean dry finish. A fantastically refreshing summer pint.
Available from 10th June to the Autumn Equinox.
Autumn-ale – 4.4%
A deep golden honey coloured beer made with local Sussex hops which give a unique spiced fruity hop aroma. Smooth with a subtle honied finish.
Available from 10th September to the Winter Solstice.
Triple XXX – 4.4%
Dark, chocolate malty winter mild ale with smooth hopping for a slightly sweeter taste.
Available from 10th December to the Spring Equinox.
Christmas Cracker – 4.5%
Xmas mystery beer. A different recipe every year with a seasonal twist for extra yuletide cheer.
Available during December.
Black Swallow – 6.0%
Fermented longer for a delicious smoother taste, Black Swallow is a supremely hoppy 6% black IPA. A complex taste extravaganza, Black Swallow masterfully combines bitter chocolate flavours with toffee undertones.
